The Oasis is the main entrance to Animal Kingdom. The Discovery Trails lead to various animal habitats where you can see migratory birds and other animals along the lush garden trails.
The Tree of Life is front and center at Discovery Island. Here guests will encounter other animal habitats along the Discovery Trails including flamingos, vultures, lemurs and kangaroos. You can also meet Mickey and Minnie in their safari outfits. Discovery Trails is the central hub of the park and all but one area (Rafiki's Planet Watch) branches off of the Discovery Trails.
Explore Dinoland, U.S.A. where you can find some prehistoric attractions, including Triceratop Spin. Enjoy Midway style games at Fossil Fun Games and enjoy lunch at Restaurantosaurus.
Asia is home the many animals from the continent, including gibbons. This land is based on the fictional village of Anandapur. You can find one of a kind gifts and souvenirs, as well as restaurants serving delicious Asian inspired dishes. Asia is home to two of the park's thrill rides - Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids.
Guests board the Wildlife Express Train from Africa for a short trip to Planet Watch, an area of the park dedicated to conservation. Conservation Station showcases the various conservation projects supported by The Walt Disney company. You will get a behind the scenes glimpse of Disney's Animal Kingdom animal care facilities, including a veterinary exam room. Affection Section is a petting zoo featuring domestic animals such as goats and sheep. Participate in the Wilderness Explorers and earn stickers along the way.
Set in the fictional town of Harambe, the Africa area is home to the Festival of the Lion King and the Kilimanjaro Safari. Did you know that all of the Magic Kingdom can fit in the area in which the safaris run?
Climb aboard a banshee for a breathtaking 3D flight in Avatar Flight of Passage or take a peaceful river cruise down the Na'vi River and meet Na'vi Shaman of Songs. This journey will immerse you in the bioluminescent forests alive with spectacular color.
